Education Program Intern

Sarah LaTorre is a senior undergraduate student at Wilmington University, where she is pursuing her B.S in Biology. She has recently joined the gene editing institute as science education intern. Sarah has a background in biodiversity and conservation research. She has previously worked alongside NASA Delaware Space Grant and Delaware Environmental Institute. Her previous research includes genetic sequencing of Aiptasia pallida to study stress genes, due to rising ocean temperatures and climate change. Sarah plans on continuing her education by receiving a M.S in Biology with an interest of informal education.
