Sarah LaTorre is a senior undergraduate student at Wilmington University, where she is pursuing her B.S in Biology. After participating in the Gene Editing 360TM Learning Lab, she joined the Education & Outreach group this past fall as a Learning Lab Alumna. Sarah has a background in biodiversity and conservation research. She has previous research experience with the United States Department of Agriculture, NASA Delaware Space Grant, and Delaware Environmental Institute. Her undergraduate research includes genetic sequencing of Aiptasia pallida to study stress genes caused by climate change. After graduating this spring, Sarah plans to continue her education by receiving a M.S in Biology with an interest of informal education.
