Nicole's research interests are in exploring new techniques to solve problems in human health, focusing on disease, viruses and evolutionary genetics. She trained in a neuroscience laboratory at the University of Delaware, where she focused on neuroinflammation during development. Most of her time in the lab was spent piloting novel methods for research proposals and designing trial experiments.
At the Gene Editing Institute, her research focus as a member of the Oncology Group is on developing animal models for use in pre-clinical and translational research.
