Chris Yochim is a leader in the Greater Philadelphia Life Science Community, promoting industry & academic collaborations to drive innovative science toward Commercialization for the benefit of patients. He is the owner of Easy Rider Stable and a founding member and Chairman of the Board of the Delaware Bioscience Association. He also serves as strategic advisor to HOYA Corporation and the Head of Business Development at National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals. His 35-year career with Zeneca & AstraZeneca saw him as a leader in global responsibility establishing the company as a preferred partner in biotechnology, venture capital and the academic community.

He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of AUTM and served as Vice President for Eastern US Region (2006-2007). As an active volunteer in AUTM, Chris founded and led the AUTM Sponsorship Committee for 10 years. In 2014, he was honored as the first life science industry recipient of the AUTM Presidents Award. Chris served as co-chair of the Life Science Caucus of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and was recognized for his contributions to the region with the PHL Ultimate Solutions Award in 2022.

He earned his bachelors of science in biology at Loyola University in New Orleans, and Millsaps College in Jackson Mississippi. He gained his graduate degree in business studies at Widener University.
